Our former director Wilhelm Boland was awarded the International Society of Chemical Ecology (ISCE) Silver Medal for outstanding contributions to the discipline of Chemical Ecology. In his Silver Medal Lecture, which concluded 38th Annual ISCE Meeting in Bangalore, India, he presented his research on “Metal matters! Co2+ and Mg2+ ions control chain length of prenyl diphosphates in insects”. Congratulations!
