Upcoming transferable skill courses

We support doctoral researchers in acquiring essential transferable skills by organizing courses on academic writing (including scientific English), data visualization, effective presentation, project-, time-, and self-management, communication, leadership, dealing with conflicts and coping with stress. Most of these courses are jointly organized with the “IMPRS for Global Biogeochemical Cycles”. Each course earns a certain number of credit points. The annual course on "Good Scientific Practise" is the only mandatory course in the IMPRS curriculum. Please note that the Jena Graduate Academy also offers a variety of transferable skill courses which can be attended instead or in addition to our courses and count towards your course requirements.
