Current Research:

Ecological adaptations of N. attenuata to hawkmoth pollination.- The research focus on two parts, first the differential effect of N. attenuata floral traits (scent, movement, aperture, nectar) with its pollinator Manduca sexta at a behavioral and mechanistic level. The second part aims to the natural variation of these floral traits in relation to their biogeography and how this modifies the interaction with M. sexta.
