Triterpenes and their triterpenoid derivatives are widely distributed in plants as specialized metabolites of medicinal, agricultural, and ecological importance. My research interest is to reveal the ecological functions of triterpenes in N. attenuate. To explore its synthesis and how it helps N. attenuata win the competition for survival.
