Internationale Tagung der Proteom-Forscher in Jena - Pressemitteilung vom 9. Oktober 2013

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I have the pleasure to invite you to the 7th Central and Eastern European Proteomics Conference (CEEPC) on Proteomics Driven Discovery and Applications at the Abbe Center Beutenberg in Jena, Germany.

The Central and Eastern European Proteomics Conference series started in 2007 and has become the most respected event on proteomics in this region. The 7th CEEPC is organized by the Research Group for Mass Spectrometry/Proteomics at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology in Jena (Germany) in cooperation with the German Proteomic Society. Again, we will bring together scientists, researchers, and academics from Central and Eastern Europe with varied interests to make such a joint meeting an exciting event. Additionally, it will reflect the advances in proteomics and their implications on important topics of interest such as the proteomes and biological systems, various disease processes, biomarkers of diseases, imaging of proteins and metabolites, plant and insect expression proteomics, and the quest for therapeutic agents.

An industry exhibition which will present the latest products in proteomics technologies will take place at the Abbe Center.

We aim to make this an event where good science is discussed, knowledge is shared, and collaborations and friendships are established. With this in mind, we have organized a state-of-the-art program of international speakers, invited lectures and a colorful social program.

Your attendance and participation means a lot to us. We look forward to welcoming you in Jena in October!
Yours sincerely,
Aleš Svatoš

Specific symposia:

  1. Clinical proteomics and interactomics
  2. New technology for high throughput clinical proteomics
  3. Plant, insect and bacterial proteomics
  4. Quantitative proteomics
  5. Spatially-resolved proteomics, imaging of biomarkers
