Research Interests:
- To understand the way volatile isoprenoids function in a plant and interact with the environment by studying Arabidopsis thaliana.
- To identify and characterize the genes of isoprenoids biosynthases for isoprenoids which are involved in defense and protection (e.g. anti-oxidants and anti-pathogens)
- To study the expression and regulation of isoprenoid biosynthase genes when a plant is under abiotic or biotic stress
